I spent most of tonight writing my next blog entry on the insanely incredible, crazy training hike we did yesterday ~ scaling sheer rock and crab walking while holding on for dear life while side-stepping along the tiniest of ridges. I’ve been adding photo’s and I hoped I was writing a post that would entertain you as you read. It was taking a while thought and I was getting tired and so saved what I had done and was about to log off when something without even knowing it had me typing in my BackABuddy fundraising page and so tonight’s blog is for all of you who have donated since I last checked this page.
I don’t know any of you and so I have no other way to say thank-you but to write it on here and hope you see it. Your generosity and kindness renders me speechless and my tears flow freely as I read your messages. Thank you for helping me create a world I want to live in. Thank you for helping me make a difference. As someone I know often says “there is no me, with you”. May your generosity come back to you ten-fold.
It is 74 days to go until the plane we want to be on takes-off. To each and every one of you who have kindly made donations since I started this journey, I will carry the thought of each and every one of you up Kilimanjaro with me. You spur me on.
In memory of
Timothy “Peanut” Hutton,
Emma, my best friend
& all those others who fight so courageously.
Emma used to love “Me To You” Bears and was always sending me cards with them on.
So from me to you
Tonight, someone is breathing easier because of YOU !!

Wonderful post, it reminds me of the quote by Anita Roddick of The Body Shop “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try going to bed with a mosquito” :)

I love that story. My mom used to say, “Every mickle makes a muckle.” It’s an old English saying, meaning, “Take care of the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves. :)

That’s a good saying, I love it, and it is so very true! :)
