Here’s a little sneak peek of today’s scientific games in the Human Performance Laboratory….
“A scientist in his laboratory is not a mere technician: he is also a child confronting natural phenomena that impress him as though they were fairy tales” ~ Marie Curie
I was poked, prodded, hooked up, weighed, measured and put through the paces.
They can find no body fat on my quadriceps ~ it’s all muscle she smiles. I can leg press 190kg’s and surprised myself by bench pressing 28kg’s ~ and I didn’t kill myself by bench press either (that alone is a huge accomplishment and I’m super impressed with myself for that). I didn’t fall flat on my face while attempting push-up’s (although I’m guessing I didn’t look very graceful!) and I kinda breezed through the sit-ups.
I had a fantastic two-some crowd cheering me on.
Then they nearly killed me on the treadmill!
But I survived.
I live to tell the tale.
However, tomorrow may be another story altogether!
Next up on Walking4Air, the full story of my triumphs and tribulations as a ‘Lab Rat’, plus photos for you to laugh at.
Stay tune!
