Reason # 9:
Kalk Bay
This historic seaside harbour village on the coast of False Bay lies between the ocean and the sharply rising mountains. It is abuzz with local fisherman, bohemian shops, antiques, crafts and some of the best restaurants around. Interesting people stroll along the wharf and browse the quirky shops, surfers ride the breakers and in season the beautiful Southern Right Whales grace the shoreline.
There is nothing not to love about this beautiful, seaside village which comes packed with charm.
